Antique Victorian solid silver vesta case, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1898 C.C Charles Arthur Cooke was born in 1860, the son of Joseph Cooke, a tailor from Mimm Street, Marylebone and his wife Ann. He entered marks at Goldsmiths Hall in 1888, 1898 and 1912 all comprising CC in a rectangle with a pellet between the initials.
