Antique Victorian - could be earlier silver plate, serving dish. We believe this is by renowned silver smith John Harrison.
Trade reports stated that this business began in 1820. However, it was not until 1833 that John Harrison & Co was listed in a directory and registered a silver mark in Sheffield. Based in Norfolk Works, Norfolk Lane, it manufactured German silver and Britannia metal wares. Some clear marks on base suggest this although slightly rubbed lovely decorative piece the handle has 2 amazing carved eagle / dragon heads lovely design unfortunately slightly tarnished but shows it's age and use 28 cm wide 23 cm depth 23 cm tall to top of handle
