An elegant and decorative vintage silver-plated pedestal basket by the renowned British silversmith Mappin & Webb, featuring a beautifully shaped bowl with a striking sculptural handle adorned with flowing vine and leaf detail.

Founded in 1775 in Sheffield, Mappin & Webb became one of the foremost names in British silver and luxury goods. The firm supplied fine tableware and presentation pieces to royalty and high society and was later appointed Royal Warrant holders.
