Harveys Bristol Cream, a globally popular sherry, has a rich history starting in 1796. Founded by William Perry as a wine merchant in Bristol, the business, under the leadership of John Harvey, began experimenting with unique blends, including the famed "cream sherry". The blend, which includes Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez wines, was created in 1882 and trademarked as "Bristol Cream".

Key Historical Points:

1796: William Perry establishes a wine merchant business in Bristol.

1860s: John and Edward Harvey create a new sherry blend, which is later trademarked as Bristol Cream.

1882: Bristol Cream is trademarked.

1895: Harveys receives a royal warrant as the sole provider of wine to the royal family.

1920s: Bristol Cream gains significant popularity, and exports to the US begin.

1966: The company is acquired by Showerings brewers.

1970s: Harveys begins investing heavily in the Jerez region of Spain.

All items listed on Objet D'Art Stuff are antique, vintage, or pre-owned, meaning they have been previously used and loved. As such, each piece will show signs of age-related wear, which may include small marks, minor surface scratches, or other signs of use consistent with its history. Shipping Policy

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at the checkout. Charges are based upon the size and weight of the item you have purchased and are in line with Royal Mail and/or Yodel shipping rates for the UK. Internationally shipping costs include a handling charge and any excise duties for the country of destination.

We do not offer in-store pick up or local delivery.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
