Vintage Mother of Pearl Rooster Cocktail Picks – Set of Six possibly silver? No hallmarks as too small, so have to sell as white metal

A charming set of six vintage mother of pearl cocktail picks, each finished with a delightful carved rooster or cockerel finial. The long slender picks have the beautiful soft lustre associated with mother of pearl, catching the light with subtle creamy, pearly tones. Each one tapers to a pointed end, making them ideal for serving olives, cocktail cherries, cheese cubes, canapés or small hors d’oeuvres.

The rooster tops give the set a wonderfully playful character — part country kitchen, part vintage drinks cabinet, and part mid-century entertaining charm. Pieces like these were often brought out for cocktail parties, buffet tables and after-dinner drinks, adding a little theatre to the table.
