Adie Brothers Ltd was a Birmingham-based silversmithing company that made vanity cases, mirrors, and a variety of silver serving items: 
History
The company was established in 1879 and registered its hallmarks around 1902. In 1906, Adie Brothers merged with McKewan & Adie and Edward Souter Barnsley. The company became Adie Brothers Ltd in 1922 when it registered new hallmarks. In the late 1960s, Adie Brothers Ltd became part of British Silverware, which closed in 1968. 
Known for
Adie Brothers Ltd was known for its vanity cases and mirrors, especially those decorated with guilloche enamel. Andrew Vaughan Jones invented the Adie Bros manicure pad in 1915, which featured a collapsible handle that allowed the brushes to be stored more securely in vanity cases. 
Hallmarks
Adie Brothers Ltd silver items are hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office with a Lion Passant to indicate sterling silver.
