Elastoplast's history began in 1896 with the development of the first plaster in Germany by Beiersdorf, which later acquired the brand. Beiersdorf bought the Elastoplast brand in 2000, and it is now known as Hansaplast in some parts of Europe, with a presence in markets worldwide. The brand's success is built on over 125 years of experience in wound care, combining tradition with innovation in its product development.
