A beautiful vintage cowrie shell trinket box, charmingly mounted with decorative silver-toned metal scrollwork and finished with an iridescent mother-of-pearl style shell inset to the hinged lid.

Small, tactile and full of coastal charm, this little keepsake box would be perfect for rings, tiny treasures, dressing-table styling or a collector of natural shell curiosities.

The shell has warm cream, amber and brown natural markings, with a lovely pearly glow to the lid. The metal mounts show age-related tarnish and wear, adding to its vintage character. A decorative little object with a romantic seaside, vanity-table feel.
