This kerfoots tin would have originally held Kerfoot's Pastilles, specifically labeled "Antiseptic Throat".

Thomas Kerfoot & Co. Ltd. was a pharmaceutical company founded by Thomas Kerfoot, a pharmaceutical chemist who began experimenting with preparations like lozenges and pastilles in his Manchester shop in 1863.

The company produced a range of pharmaceutical products, including pastilles, lozenges, and tablets, eventually becoming known for products like Salaspin and Kerocain.

During the Second World War, the company played a role in producing vital drugs, including ital drugs, including penicillin and anti-malarial medications.

The business is now owned by the Swedish pharmaceutical company Recipharm.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at the checkout. Charges are based upon the size and weight of the item you have purchased and are in line with Royal Mail and/or Yodel shipping rates for the UK. Internationally shipping costs include a handling charge and any excise duties for the country of destination.

We do not offer in-store pick up or local delivery.
