Vintage “Cinderella & Goldilocks” Illustrated Toffee Tin – c.1940s–50s

This delightful round vintage tin combines two classic fairy tales in one charming package. The lid depicts a richly detailed scene from Cinderella, showing the young heroine stepping gracefully from her magical coach — likely en route to the royal ball. Surrounding the sides, a whimsical comic-strip sequence illustrates Goldilocks and the Three Bears, complete with anthropomorphic bears and playful mid-century styling.

The tin is decorated in vibrant reds, blacks, and golds, with a repeating Art Deco-inspired border around the rim. Originally used to house sweets or biscuits, this piece would have been a treasured item for a child — perhaps as a holiday treat or birthday gift.
