Vintage, could be older, W. Canning & co Ltd glass bottle with original lid - rare!! This unusual square bottle with original label and lid originally would have been used for oil for polishing etc you would send bottle back to be refilled recycling even then!!

Some age related wear reminents of oil in bottom.

Established in Birmingham in 1785, manufacturing equipment for electroplating and polishing. The company also had offices in London and Sheffield. They were taken over by MacDermid Incorporated in 1998.
