Vintage 1940s / 50 Railway carriage Dining room hand made wooden sign original

Vintage 1940s / 50 railway carriage dining room hand made wooden sign original !!!!! Not reproduction. This original railway carriage sign would have been used in possibly a steam train to show passengers the way to the dining room. You can see this is totally original. The letters have been hand cut from wood, painted, and then tacked on using small metal tacks ( not screws ). Unfortunately there is some paint flaking (see pictures) - personally I love that original look. has been re touched in still maintaining that original look. Without the flaking/ touching in paint this item would be hundreds. We have priced accordingly.
