Vintage Danish Teak Wall Mirror – Mid-Century Scalloped Frame

A beautifully shaped vintage Danish wall mirror, dating most likely from the 1960s–1970s, with a warm teak-toned wooden frame and a wonderfully decorative scalloped inner edge. The design has that lovely Scandinavian balance: simple, practical and elegant, but with just enough curve and movement to make it feel special.
The mirror has a tall rectangular form with softly rounded corners and shaped cut-outs to the top, bottom and sides, giving it a gentle Art Deco revival feel while still sitting very comfortably within mid-century Danish design. The wood has a rich golden grain, making it ideal for a hallway, bedroom, dressing area or above a vintage chest of drawers.
The reverse is stamped “Made in Denmark” with the number 6167. No specific maker’s label is present, so I would describe the maker as unidentified Danish manufacture, rather than attributing it to a named designer. Pieces of this type were often produced by Danish furniture and mirror workshops for export during the mid-20th century, when Scandinavian teak furniture was especially popular in Britain and Europe.
The mirror appears to be in good vintage condition overall, with light age-related wear to the wooden frame and back, consistent with use and display. The mirror plate presents well and the shaped frame gives it a very attractive decorative presence.
