Antique early 20th century foxes glacier mints, large shop display tin. Some age related wear. Size 26 cm tall 15 cm wide 13 cm depth.

This fantastic large tin would have been used in a shop front to advertise fox's glacier mints.

Fox's Glacier Mints were first introduced in 1918 by Eric Fox, under the name Acme Clear Mint Fingers. They were later renamed in 1919 to Fox's Glacier Mints, a name considered more marketable. The iconic polar bear mascot, "Peppy," was added to the packaging in 1922 after a staff competition.

All items listed on Objet D'Art Stuff are antique, vintage, or pre-owned, meaning they have been previously used and loved. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at the checkout. Charges are based upon the size and weight of the item you have purchased and are in line with Royal Mail and/or Yodel shipping rates for the UK. Internationally shipping costs include a handling charge and any excise duties for the country of destination.

We do not offer in-store pick up or local delivery.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
