These timeworn little tins once held everyday chemist remedies including cough pastilles, throat lozenges and tonic tablets, and now make a lovely display set for collectors of vintage pharmacy advertising, apothecary décor, Boots memorabilia and British social history.

A striking red, black and white tin with bold graphic lettering and the wording “Sold by Boots at all branches.”

Boots Compound Glycerin of Thymol Pastilles tin

A beautifully aged grey and red Boots tin, marked “Prepared by Boots, Nottingham, England,” with period directions and ingredient wording still visible to the lid.
