Art nouveau/deco blue glass lady by sowerby glass probably from a larger center piece
Designs were registered from 1868. John Sowerby was succeeded by his son J.G. Sowerby in the 1870s. They were best known for coloured Carnival Glass, for Vitro-porcelain in various colours and for designs borrowed from Walter Crane's very popular illustrations for childrens' books.
a beautiful item unfortunately upon closer inspection using a magnifying glass there are a couple of minor cracks only visible using a magnifying glass this does not detract from the beauty of this item stands 14 cm tallI have priced item accordingly
