Vintage 1950s Monte Carlo rally tin plate car. This nice condition, some play, worn wear, car, I believe has a play on the words Monte as in the place and the nickname for general Montgomery, known as Monty in the passenger seat being chauffeured by a soldier?

The Monte Carlo Rally, first held in 1911 by Prince Albert I, began as a "concentration rally" where drivers from various European cities drove to Monaco to showcase new automobile innovations and promote tourism. It was organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco and initially judged on performance, condition, and even passengers and luggage. The event has been a major part of the World Rally Championship (WRC) since 1973, evolving into a modern rally with special stages, though it continues to test driver skill on challenging, often snowy, and icy roads in January.

    TRUSTPILOT reviews objet dart stuff

    July 2025

Great item, was a glass jar with contents, well packaged, with a fragile label attached, arrived no problems. A near perfect example of a 50s/60s Hopkin and Williams chemical bottle. The postage was fair, the item was as described and a good value, especially with contents.
