Vintage Victorian/Edwardian art deco/nouveau picture frame

Vintage Victorian/Edwardian  art deco art nouveau style picture frame unfortunately as much as I have looked I cannot see a Hallmark so have had to price as silver plate or white metal personally the weight and quality of the item suggests silver with lovely blue velvet backing there is even a red velvet contrast to the back of stand stunning piece 
Stands 23 cm tall 16 1/2 cm wide
During the late Victorian period silver photograph frames became hugely popular with the middle and upper classes. The concept of photography was in its infancy, and to be able to afford both a photograph and a silver frame was a clear sign of wealth.
