Vintage PeDe Wooden Coffee Grinder – Peter Dienes, Germany (Early–Mid 20th Century)

Brew your morning coffee with a sprinkle of history… This delightful vintage PeDe hand-cranked coffee grinder was made by the respected German manufacturer Peter Dienes and dates from around the 1930s–1950s. Beautifully crafted in solid wood with a turned wooden handle and metal grinding mechanism, it has the iconic PeDe badge to the front and a sweet pull-out drawer to collect the freshly-ground beans.

.

The grinder has clearly been used and loved over the decades, giving it an authentic, rustic patina that coffee lovers and vintage-kitchen collectors adore. The drawer interior still retains traces of past use, and the wood shows light age-related wear — exactly what you’d hope to see in a working antique piece.

.

This PeDe grinder is both decorative and functional, making it a characterful addition to a farmhouse kitchen, coffee nook, vintage café display, or antique collection.
