Vintage Clear Glass perfume bottle with Stopper makers stamp to base
Oh this is a lovely, understated piece – very much quietly elegant glass rather than shouty ✨
.
Vintage Clear Glass perfume bottle with Stopper makers stamp to base can't quite make it out. I don't think the stopper is the original. It sits nicely on the top but does not screw. It may have had a liner to opening and possibly some labels. Looks amazing displayed with other items. An unusual shape

Maker’s Mark to Base
A beautifully proportioned vintage clear glass perfume bottle with a softly flattened, globe-shaped body and slender neck, complete with matching glass stopper. The form is classic and timeless, allowing the quality of the glasswork to speak for itself.
.
The glass is nicely weighted with a gently domed base, giving it a pleasing balance when handled. Light refracts subtly through the curved sides, making it as attractive empty on a shelf as it is in use. This style of perfume bottle works wonderfully dressing table piece.( See pictures illustration only not included)
.
To the underside of the base there is a pressed maker’s mark, reading “PEGI” (or possibly “SEGU” – the lettering is slightly stylised and softly formed within the glass). This indicates factory production rather than hand-blown studio glass and suggests mid- to late-20th-century European manufacture.
.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks observed. Minor surface wear consistent with age and use, including light base wear. Stopper fits well.
.
Approximate Date:
Mid–late 20th century
Material:
Clear I believe blown glass
Maker’s Mark:
Pressed mark to base reading PEGI / SEGU (as photographed)

A smart, usable vintage perfume bottle with clean lines and enduring appeal – perfect for a dressing table setup, or as a simple decorative accent.
