Vintage 1930s mcvitie & prices free sample biscuit tin this amazing condition no dents etc and still very vibrant some age related wear 9 cm square 4 cm tall

a vintage McVitie & Price Digestive Biscuits sample tin, likely from around 1925. It is a square tin with rounded corners, featuring a stag's head in the center of the lid and a decorative border. These tins were given as free samples to encourage people to try the biscuits. The tin is made of litho printed tinplate and is approximately 9 cm square and 3.5 cm high.

McVitie & Price began as a provision shop in Edinburgh in 1839. The company, founded by Robert McVitie, grew and expanded, eventually becoming a major biscuit manufacturer. In 1888, Charles Price joined the business, leading to the name change to McVitie & Price. The company later merged with MacFarlane Lang and Co. to form United Biscuits in 1948.

All items listed on Objet D'Art Stuff are antique, vintage, or pre-owned, meaning they have been previously used and loved. As such, each piece will show signs of age-related wear, which may include small marks, minor surface scratches, or other signs of use consistent with its history. We carefully describe and photograph all notable features and imperfections, but please understand that gentle wear is part of the character and authenticity of vintage and antique items.

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays). Please allow for any potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at the checkout. Charges are based upon the size and weight of the item you have purchased and are in line with Royal Mail and/or Yodel shipping rates for the UK. Internationally shipping costs include a handling charge and any excise duties for the country of destination.

We do not offer in-store pick up or local delivery.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
