£28.00

This is a lovely, elegant piece. Vintage clear glass globe decanter with glass stopper, possibly hand-blown, with a pleasing rounded body, thick clear base and simple collar neck. The base appears to show a polished/ground pontil-style finish, which is often associated with hand-finished glass, though without a maker’s mark, we believe this is by Krosno.

27 cm tall including stopper

12 cm round at base

Displayed with other bottles for sale separately not included

Very heavy well made item difficult to date but definitely mid century displayed with other bottles illustration only for sale separately

A beautifully simple vintage clear glass decanter, with a rounded globe-shaped body, slim neck and matching glass stopper. Its clean, timeless form makes it a lovely piece for a drinks cabinet, sideboard, home bar display or decorative shelf styling.

The decanter has a wonderfully weighty feel, with a thick clear base and softly rounded silhouette. The glass catches the light beautifully, giving it an understated elegance that would suit both traditional and contemporary interiors. The stopper has a classic ribbed, mushroom-style top and fits into the neck of the bottle.

This is an unmarked piece, so the maker is unknown, but the form is very much in keeping with traditional glass decanters and serving bottles. It may appeal to collectors of vintage barware, antique-style glass, decorative bottles and classic home accessories.

Condition is good vintage condition overall, with light age-related surface wear, small marks and signs of previous use as expected. There may be some internal clouding or residue typical of older glass decanters. Please see photos for condition and clarity. The stopper is present, though as with many vintage decanters, we cannot guarantee it is original to the bottle.( Firs very snuggly so I would say definitely is)
