Vintage Egyptian Revival Glass Bead – Cobalt Blue Pharaoh (c. 1920s–1940s)

This striking cobalt blue pressed-glass bead depicts a pharaoh’s face in low relief — a classic design from the Art Deco Egyptomania period following the 1922 discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb.

The bead is drilled through lengthwise and would originally have been part of a necklace or bracelet. Made to imitate ancient lapis lazuli, pieces like this were produced in Bohemia and France for the costume jewellery trade, notably in the Neiger Brothers style.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light surface wear and a faint trace of gilt in the recessed detail.

Size: Approx. 1.5 cm x 1 cm.

All items listed on Objet D'Art Stuff are antique, vintage, or pre-owned, meaning they have been previously used and loved. As such, each piece will show signs of age-related wear, which may include small marks, minor surface scratches, or other signs of use consistent with its history. We carefully describe and photograph all notable features and imperfections, but please understand that gentle wear is part of the character and authenticity of vintage and antique items.

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays). Please allow for any potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at the checkout. Charges are based upon the size and weight of the item you have purchased and are in line with Royal Mail and/or Yodel shipping rates for the UK. Internationally shipping costs include a handling charge and any excise duties for the country of destination.

We do not offer in-store pick up or local delivery.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
