A beautifully elegant vintage table lamp base by Inlite, designed in a classic fluted column form with a stepped square plinth and warm polished brass-effect finish. With its architectural shape, reflective golden tone and timeless proportions, this piece has a wonderfully refined country house feel — perfect for a study, side table, hallway console, bedroom chest or layered vintage interior.

The lamp has a tall reeded column, rounded collar detailing and substantial square base, giving it a neoclassical look inspired by Georgian and Regency design. It would pair beautifully with a pleated, silk, empire or gathered fabric shade, depending on whether you want to style it as traditional, Hollywood Regency, library chic or maximalist vintage.

The underside retains its original Inlite label, with what appears to be model/reference number 396/1 and Banbury/Oxfordshire details. Inlite lighting is associated with quality late 20th-century decorative lighting, and this piece has the look and presence of a well-made vintage lamp rather than a modern reproduction.

Condition
