Antique early 20th century or late 19th century laquared and gold leaf glove box. This exquisite box, probably Japanese, would have been used to store gloves or a lady's fan, trinkets etc. A great looking item. Although over its 100 plus years it is showing signs of it's age, marks, wear etc (inside has a mark on lid, does not show on outside)
