Antique early 20th century pair of firedogs or andirons with unusual candle holders on top cast iron. This lovely pair of hand made ( by a blacksmith) would have originally been black; now there is lots of age-related wear. They could be repainted using a fireproof paint. Personally, I would leave them; I think they look amazing!! lots of age-related wear could just be used as candle holders (see pictures illustration only or garden decor, etc.).
