A graceful antique mahogany plant stand, beautifully shaped with long curved legs, a square top and a useful lower shelf. This is a lovely decorative piece for adding height and warmth to an interior — perfect for a favourite houseplant, trailing fern, small sculpture, lamp, vase or hallway display.( Displayed with other items illustration only not included)

The stand has an elegant Edwardian-inspired form, with gently splayed cabriole-style supports and a rich reddish-brown polished finish. The square top gives good usable display space, while the lower shelf adds both practicality and visual balance. It has a wonderfully warm patina, with natural variation in the grain and colour, giving it the character expected from a vintage wooden piece.

The handwritten marking inside appears to read “PO14 AG. 3/34”. This looks more like an inventory, house, auction or stock reference rather than a maker’s mark, so I would not attribute it to a named manufacturer.possibly the year?

Condition is good antique condition overall, with age-related marks, surface wear, knocks and colour variation to the wood, particularly on the top and edges. These do not detract from its decorative appeal and are part of its honest antique character. The stand displays beautifully and would look especially striking in a period-style interior,( as shown in pictures ) conservatory, hallway, bedroom corner or maximalist botanical setting.
