A Little History

Founded in 1822, Huntley & Palmers became the world’s largest biscuit manufacturer and produced some of the most iconic decorative tins in British social history. During the mid-20th century, they collaborated with popular children's characters such as Noddy to create playful packaging that delighted families — tins now treasured by collectors today.

Noddy, created by Enid Blyton in 1949, remains one of Britain’s best-loved children’s characters. Mr & Mrs Tubby Bear are among his earliest friends in Toyland, making this scene especially nostalgic for book lovers.
