This beautifully crafted antique silver box features exquisite repoussé floral decoration, making it a striking example of early 20th-century Eastern silversmithing. The lid and body are richly adorned with high-relief chrysanthemums and scrolling foliage, traditional motifs symbolising joy, longevity, and renewal across both Indian and Chinese decorative arts. A plain circular cartouche sits at the centre of the lid — a design element often left for personal monograms when these pieces were created for export markets.
