A charming vintage Italian pill box, beautifully crafted with a domed porcelain lid decorated with delicate blue forget-me-not flowers, set within an ornately engraved gilt metal case.

Marked “Made in Italy” to the base, this elegant little piece dates to the mid-20th century (c. 1950s–1960s) and is a classic example of Italian souvenir and vanity ware of the period.

The exterior is richly engraved with scrolling floral motifs, continuing inside the lid, while the interior retains its original white plastic insert, traditionally used to protect pills, mints, or snuff. Forget-me-nots, long associated with remembrance and affection, were a popular decorative motif, making this piece both sentimental and decorative.
