This charming vintage Mackintosh’s toffee tin was produced by John Mackintosh & Sons Ltd., Halifax, England, between the mid-1930s and early 1940s. Distinctive for its hexagonal shape, it features a beautifully printed English village street scene on the lid — a nostalgic image of half-timbered houses, cobbled lanes, and two figures in period dress beneath a church tower.

The warm red background contrasts with the muted tones of the architecture, typical of the interwar British lithographic style. Around the sides runs a soft brown floral pattern with the wording “John Mackintosh & Sons Ltd. Halifax, England” and “Printed in England.” The interior retains its original tin finish with light age patina, adding to its authenticity.
