A wonderfully quirky vintage tabletop drawer cabinet, creatively upcycled with a colourful chinoiserie-style covering featuring exotic birds, flowering branches and lush foliage.

The cabinet contains six useful drawers of varying depths, making it ideal for storing craft supplies, sewing notions, jewellery, stationery, photographs or other small treasures. Each drawer has its own character, with a mixture of faux crocodile-effect and wood-effect fronts, aged brass label holders and mismatched ceramic knobs.

We believe the cabinet itself is vintage and has been sympathetically decorated and altered at a later date. The resulting piece has a delightfully eclectic, bohemian appearance and would look fabulous in a studio, craft room, home office or maximalist interior.

This is a genuinely timeworn piece with plenty of character. There is visible wear throughout, including scuffs, scratches, marks, paint splashes, worn edges, lifting and losses to some of the applied covering, and general unevenness around the drawer fronts. The drawers operate but are not precision-made and may feel slightly stiff or uneven.
