A beautiful little vintage shell trinket box, made from a natural clam shell and mounted in a brass-toned hinged frame.

Measuring approximately 7cm long, it has a soft pearly white surface with delicate blush-pink tones inside, giving it a gentle coastal charm.

Originally likely sold as a small keepsake, pill box, coin purse or jewellery trinket box, this tactile little piece would sit beautifully on a dressing table, beside a collection of pearls, scent bottles or seaside curiosities.

It is just the right size for a ring, tiny pendant, keepsake note or other miniature treasure.

The shell shows natural variation, soft surface marks and some age-related wear around the edges. The metal mount has an aged patina and tarnish, all adding to its vintage character.
