A handsome pair of salvaged metal lamp shades with a wonderfully simple industrial form and a dark brushed pewter-style finish.

Each shade has a broad, gently curved profile with stepped detailing around the neck, giving them just enough character without losing that clean utilitarian look. The interiors are finished in glossy white enamel, designed to reflect the light downwards and creating a lovely contrast with the darker exterior.

These are genuine salvaged pieces rather than new reproduction shades, and they retain the small marks, surface scratches, rubbing and occasional tiny losses to the white enamel around the rims that come with previous use. We think this only adds to their appeal and makes them particularly suited to an industrial, vintage or reclaimed interior.

They would look superb hung as a matching pair above a kitchen island or dining table, over a counter, or incorporated into a commercial café, bar or shop interior.
