Salvaged Black Industrial Metal Pendant Lampshade – 30cm

A great piece of practical salvage, this black metal pendant lampshade has been rescued for another life rather than discarded.

Made from pressed metal, the shade has a gently domed industrial-style form with stepped detailing towards the top. The exterior is finished in black with a subtle finely textured appearance, while the glossy white interior helps reflect the light downwards. A soft white protective edging runs around the lower rim, giving the shade an interesting utilitarian finish.

Its simple black and white colour scheme makes it an easy piece to work into an industrial, rustic, loft-style or contemporary interior. It would look particularly good suspended above a kitchen table, breakfast bar, workbench or in a utility space, where its slightly workmanlike character can really come into its own.

We particularly like that this is a salvaged piece. Reusing existing lighting and interiors is a simple way of introducing individuality into a home while keeping perfectly serviceable pieces in circulation.

The shade is marked “MAX 60W” to the interior.

Please note that the white plastic reducer/adaptor ring around the top opening has a split/break, as shown in the photographs. There are also light signs of previous use and handling consistent with its salvaged nature. These are part of its character rather than something we have attempted to disguise.

Shade only – no ceiling fitting, flex, bulb holder or bulb is included. We recommend that any installation or electrical components are checked and fitted by a suitably competent person.
