A wonderfully decorative vintage iron wine rack with a striking arched cage form, designed to hold up to 23 bottles.

Dating from the late 20th century, this substantial freestanding piece has a distinctly French Provincial or continental feel, with elaborate scrolling metalwork, twisted iron details and small brass-coloured wire bindings adding warmth and character to the dark metal finish.

The hinged front opens via a simple metal latch, while the interior incorporates 23 individual circular bottle supports, allowing bottles to be stored horizontally. Large curled feet give the rack a particularly attractive silhouette and lift it neatly from the floor.

More than simply practical wine storage, this is a decorative interiors piece in its own right. It would sit beautifully in a dining room, kitchen, wine room, bar area or country-house style interior, and would look especially impressive fully stocked.
